Farmers Gather at Upcoming State Conventions

By Andi Anderson

Farmers across the country are gearing up for the final state conventions, with the Illinois Farmers Union leading the way tomorrow.

These conventions serve as platforms for farmers to connect, address pressing challenges, and find collaborative solutions to advance their industry.

The Illinois Farmers Union are hosting its convention tomorrow, January 28, in East Peoria, Illinois. The event will feature U.S. Representative Eric Sorensen (IL-17) as a keynote speaker, sharing valuable insights into agricultural policies and opportunities.

Illinois State Representative Sonya Harper (6th District) is also scheduled to provide virtual remarks, adding her perspective on legislative efforts supporting farmers and rural communities.

President Larew, a prominent advocate for agriculture, will join the convention to engage with members and contribute to discussions on overcoming current challenges. The Illinois Farmers Union Convention offers a unique opportunity to make your voice heard, share your experiences, and collaborate on solutions that strengthen the farming community.

Conventions are more than just events—they represent a collective effort to build a better future for agriculture. Attendees can gain knowledge on the latest industry trends, network with fellow farmers, and actively participate in shaping policies that impact their livelihoods.

The Illinois Farmers Union encourages its members and all interested individuals to attend this significant event. With a focus on community, innovation, and sustainability, the convention is a step toward creating a stronger and more resilient agricultural sector.

Make a difference and be part of the solution by attending the Illinois Farmers Union Convention in East Peoria on tomorrow. Your participation can help drive meaningful change for agriculture in your region.
