University of Illinois Extension will be participating in the Greater Peoria Farm Show, Illinois' largest indoor farm show, from November 28-30. Extension staff will be on-site to meet with attendees, share harvest stories, and provide the latest news and resources from across the state.
- Extension Assistant Dean and Agriculture and Agribusiness Program Leader Travis Burke emphasizes the importance of connecting with Illinois farmers and using research to improve the industry.
- Show attendees will have the opportunity to discuss today's agriculture and horticulture hot topics with Extension experts.
- Topics covered will include farm leasing, grain marketing, farm estate planning, soil fertility, farm drainage, digital technology, variety selection, fertility programs, technology's impact on agriculture, and horticulture programs.
- Illinois Extension educators and specialists will be available for media interviews during show hours.
The Greater Peoria Farm Show is a great opportunity to learn about the latest advances in agriculture and horticulture from University of Illinois Extension experts.
