The Illinois Corn Growers Association (IL Corn) and the Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) will be showcasing their work to "Fuel Progress" at the Farm Progress Show in Decatur, Illinois from August 29-31. The shared exhibit will focus on the organizations' top priorities, including biofuels, consumer education, trade, and conservation.
In the biofuels space, IL Corn and ISA will be highlighting their work to build infrastructure and demand for biofuels. They will also be promoting the benefits of biofuels for the next generation of Illinois family farmers.
The organizations will also be showcasing their flagship consumer education campaign, "We are the 96%." This campaign aims to educate consumers about the importance of corn and soybeans to the U.S. economy and food supply.
Conservation is another key focus of the exhibit. IL Corn and ISA will be sharing information about how farmers can adopt new conservation practices on their farms. They will also be discussing cost-share programs that are available to help farmers implement these practices.
Finally, IL Corn and ISA will be highlighting their work to promote trade for Illinois commodities. Illinois is the leading agricultural exporter in the United States, and the organizations are committed to opening up new markets for Illinois corn and soybeans.
The "Fueling Progress" exhibit will be located in Lot 605 at the Farm Progress Show. The show is open to the public from 9am to 5pm each day.
