McNinch Joins Meristem Team

Another leading agronomic professional has joined Meristem Crop Performance, one of the fastest-growing crop input suppliers in America and based out of Columbus, Ohio. Mike McNinch becomes a Meristem sales representative in Illinois. McNinch has deep experience in helping growers boost their profitability with the right products and practices.

"We're really grateful to have signed up Mike McNinch to help us carry out our mission of creating real productivity for farmers," says Mitch Eviston, Meristem founder and CEO of his most recent new team members. "I'm very happy to turn this very talented professional loose to serve farmers with our growing portfolio of high-quality products."

McNinch grew up on a small farm near Amboy, Ill., and started working for a cattle and grain operation while in high school. After earning a degree in ag business from Kishwaukee College, he went to work for Maplehurst Farms, an independent, locally-owned crop input retailer located in Lee Center. He says his experience with Meristem products is a key part of why he has now joined the Meristem team.

"I started using these products with growers while at Maplehurst and found out they really work well," McNinch says. "Great results with Maintain Elite and N-Gear Dual Action, and I've also seen great results with Revline Advanced."

McNinch and his wife, Trese, have three school-aged children -- two sons and a daughter -- and reside near Amboy. "Helping family farmers is what we are about," he says. "And Meristem's approach with a high quality line-up of products for every pass through the field is helping farmers get a better return on their investment."
