The Illinois Pork Producers Association (IPPA) Board of Directors includes pork producers from six regional districts and up to 12 at-large members, along with representatives from the National Pork Board, National Pork Producers Council, and other industry organizations. Except for the Allied Industry Representative, all board members are pork producers.
Board members serve on various committees, organizing IPPA’s initiatives and activities throughout the year. At IPPA’s annual meeting, producer delegates set policies and guide the association’s programs, helping to advance the pork industry in Illinois.
Currently, IPPA is seeking applicants to fill a vacant seat in District 2, along with several at-large board positions. These roles provide a valuable opportunity for producers who are passionate about representing and supporting the pork industry.
If you’re interested in joining the IPPA Board and contributing to the organization’s mission, you are encouraged to apply for a position. The application deadline is December 16, 2024.
