Du Quoin State Fair Brings Free Live Music at Beer Tent

The Du Quoin State Fair has announced a full lineup of free entertainment at its popular beer tent during the 2025 fair. Running from August 22 to September 1, the fair will feature daily music from a variety of local and regional performers, offering fairgoers lively shows in addition to the grandstand concerts.

Entertainment begins on Friday, August 22, with Dirtwater Fox at 5 p.m. followed by Sister Hazel at 9 p.m. On Saturday, August 23, Kyle Woodside kicks off at noon, Doctor Wobble performs at 4 p.m., and Murphy 500 takes the stage at 8 p.m. Sunday, August 24 features Darla’s Crush, The Natives Band, and Backline5.

Special theme days add more excitement. On Monday, August 25 (Ag Day), Cat Daddy’O will perform at 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 26 (Republican Day) features Not Guilty Band at 6 p.m. Senior Day on Wednesday, August 27 brings Ol’ Moose Band at 6 p.m.

Later in the week, Thursday, August 28 includes Saint City Rebels and Lone Howl, while Friday, August 29 features Craig Gerdes Band and Bobby Ford Band. Saturday, August 30 (Coal Heritage/SIU Day) highlights Whiskey and Rust, The Hoot N Holler Band, and Southern Grit.

Closing weekend performances include Dirtwater Fox, Kyle Woodside, and Zack Fedor & The Long Goodbyes on Sunday, August 31 (First Responder Day), with The Lug Nutz Band and Well Hungarians finishing the series on Labor Day, September 1.

All beer tent shows are free. Admission to the fair is also free, with parking free on opening day, August 22. For the remaining dates, parking costs $15 at Gate 1 and $10 at other gates. Fairgoers can also find information on seasonal and handicap parking at dsf.illinois.gov.

This entertainment schedule ensures visitors can enjoy music, food, and fun throughout the 2025 Du Quoin State Fair while experiencing both well-known and local performers at no extra cost.
