SIUE Illinois SBDC to Partner with Town and Country Bank

Southern Illinois University Edwardsville's School of Business and the Illinois Small Business Development Center for the Metro East are excited to partner with Town and Country Bank to provide a free seminar to local small businesses.

The event aims to educate business owners in the Metro East on how Advantage Illinois and Fund for the Advancement of Minority Enterprises (FAME) can help fund minority, women, disabled, and veteran-owned small businesses. The seminar will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29 in the Morris University Center's International Room on the Edwardsville campus.

"We are happy to partner with Town and Country to share this valuable information," said Jo Ann Di Maggio, director of the SBDC. "The Advantage Illinois program is a valuable tool that aligns with our goal of helping small businesses grow. The SBDC is looking forward to bringing more awareness to this vital program.

Di Maggio will lead the seminar alongside Rob Pickerell, vice president and commercial banking officer at Town and Country Bank.

For more information and to RSVP for the seminar visit eventbrite.com.

The Illinois SBDC for the Metro East assists start-up ventures and existing businesses headquartered in the nine-county region of Calhoun, Jersey, Madison, Bond, Clinton, St. Clair, Washington Monroe, and Randolph. It is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration, Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, and SIUE as a service to Illinois small businesses.
