ICGA Announces New Leadership Team

By Andi Anderson

The Illinois Corn Growers Association announces its newly elected officers and board members for the year 2025–2026 following the organization’s annual and re-organizational meetings. The updated leadership team will guide the association’s priorities, help shape policy positions, oversee market development work, and support members across the state.

The newly elected president will also continue serving as a district director during the term, representing corn-producing counties within the region. Additional leadership roles include vice president, secretary, and treasurer, each responsible for supporting the association’s goals and coordinating activities within their assigned areas.

Committee leadership has also been confirmed for the coming year. The Exports Committee will be led by a chairman and vice chairman who will direct work aimed at supporting international market growth for Illinois corn.

The Industrial Committee will be guided by its own chairman and vice chairman, focusing on industrial uses of corn, renewable fuels, and related market interests. The Grassroots Committee will continue its efforts to strengthen member engagement and public policy advocacy through direction from its chairman and vice chairman.

Several directors are re-elected to continue representing their districts, ensuring continuity within the board. Additional appointments include a new director representing District 13 and a newly appointed director for District 14, selected to fill an open position. Two at-large directors are also re-elected to represent corn growers across the entire state.

The updated board list and county representation details can be viewed on the association’s official website. The Illinois Corn Growers Association continues to advocate for its members in both Springfield and Washington, D.C., working to advance legislation, strengthen markets, and expand educational and service programs. Through grassroots involvement and consistent engagement, the organization aims to support a strong future for the state’s corn industry.
