Next Gen Farming at 2025 Show

By Andi Anderson

The Farm Progress Show 2025 takes place from August 26 to 28 in Decatur, Illinois, with the Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) and IL Corn leading at Booth #605.

Their shared booth showcases the latest innovations in agriculture, with a focus on trade, animal feed, biofuels, conservation, and policy development.

Visitors can explore live agronomy plots showing soybean production and gain practical knowledge from field-tested solutions such as cover crops and soil health strategies. These real-world practices are supported by checkoff-funded research aimed at improving productivity and sustainability.

ISA and IL Corn also spotlight efforts to expand markets both locally and globally. Through strategic partnerships, investments, and innovation, these groups are boosting demand for soybeans and corn in areas such as clean air fuels, animal nutrition, and exports.

The organizations will also update visitors on legislative work that supports farmers’ voices in Springfield and Washington, D.C. Conservation programs, biofuel policies, and farmer-friendly legislation will be discussed by a lineup of expert speakers at Center Stage.

The speaker sessions cover essential topics like trade, transportation, research, youth impact, sustainability, and global market access. Notable presenters include leaders from the American Lung Association, U.S. Grains Council, National Corn Growers Association, and U.S. Soybean Export Council.

Farmers, students, and ag professionals are invited to engage, network, and learn how checkoff dollars and public policies are shaping a profitable and sustainable farming future.

Booth #605 is the place to connect with agronomy experts, industry leaders, and policy professionals who are working to ensure Illinois remains a leader in agriculture.
