Many scholarship opportunities are now available for students interested in agriculture education and careers. Each year, scholarship deadlines approach quickly, making this an important time for students, families, and educators to review available options.
Nearly 65 different agriculture-related scholarships have been shared to support students pursuing education and careers in the agriculture industry.
These scholarships help reduce financial pressure while encouraging academic success and career preparation.
Students, families, schools, and agriculture companies are encouraged to share additional scholarship opportunities so more students can benefit. Expanding access to scholarships helps ensure agriculture education remains strong and inclusive for future generations.
In addition to scholarships, the DEKALB Agriculture Accomplishment Award is now open for nominations.
This award honors outstanding high school seniors who demonstrate strong academic performance, leadership skills, work ethic, and a clear passion for pursuing a career in agriculture.
The award recognizes one student from each chapter who represents the best qualities of agriculture education.
Eligible students must be high school seniors and active members of FFA. Each nominee must be selected and submitted by their high school agricultural education advisor.
This ensures that students recognized for the award have shown consistent dedication in both the classroom and agricultural activities.
Award applications must be completed and submitted by the stated deadline. Students and advisors are encouraged to apply early to ensure all requirements are met. Schools that need replacement or additional award plaques may also request them through the designated award contact.
These scholarship listings and awards are supported through efforts by Facilitating Coordination in Ag Education, an organization focused on strengthening agricultural education from early learning through adulthood.
Their work helps connect students with meaningful opportunities that support learning, leadership development, and career readiness.
Together, these scholarships and recognition programs play an important role in supporting students who are preparing to become future leaders in agriculture.
