The 2024 SAFER AG Workshop will be held in Urbana, Illinois, on December 3-4, offering a platform to discuss the transformative impact of autonomous and AI-based technologies on agriculture.

With over 1 million acres of farmland managed by more than 500 autonomous machines worldwide, the workshop aims to address critical issues related to farmworker safety, regulations, and workforce changes.

The event will bring together farm operators, academic experts, industry leaders, and government representatives to share insights and explore solutions. Key topics include risk management, insurability, policy, workforce adaptation, and the societal impacts of emerging agricultural technologies.

Autonomous machines and AI are reshaping agriculture, increasing efficiency and productivity, but also introducing new challenges for farmworkers. Discussions will focus on strategies to ensure safety in this rapidly evolving landscape, filling knowledge gaps, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders.

Participants will benefit from expert panels, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities.

This workshop highlights the importance of preparing for a future where technology plays a significant role in farming while safeguarding worker well-being and maintaining industry standards.

By attending, participants will gain valuable insights into the future of farming and safety measures. This event is a must-attend for those invested in the future of agriculture and farm safety in the digital era.
