Fendt® Renews Official Tractor Role With NHRA

Fendt® Renews Official Tractor Role With NHRA

By Jamie Martin

Fendt® has announced a renewed two-year partnership with the National Hot Rod Association, continuing its role as the official tractor of the NHRA. The agreement strengthens the company’s involvement in national racing events while expanding its outreach to rural communities across North America.

“Fendt®’s ongoing NHRA commitment reflects the continued growth and strength of this partnership and our shared values of performance, precision and reliability,” said Tim Millwood, Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer for AGCO.

“The NHRA community includes thousands of farmers, ranchers and rural business owners who depend on our equipment every day. The partnership allows us to better engage with them about how Fendt®’s machines and technology can make them more profitable and productive and gives more visibility to the brand’s growing presence in North America,” said Millwood.

Under the partnership, the Fendt® 314 Vario® tractor will be used at all national NHRA events. Known for its compact design and strong performance, the tractor supports the NHRA Safety Safari team. This team is responsible for preparing and maintaining the racing surface, which is essential for driver safety and competitive fairness.

Company leaders stated that the partnership reflects shared commitments to reliability and performance. Many NHRA supporters are involved in agriculture, making the racing platform an effective way to connect with farmers and rural business owners. Through this collaboration, Fendt® aims to demonstrate how modern machinery and smart farming technologies can increase efficiency and farm profitability.

Fendt® will also feature six major midway displays throughout the 2026 season. These displays will provide equipment demonstrations, interactive exhibits, and opportunities for customers to speak with dealers. The initiative is designed to build stronger relationships and increase awareness of Fendt®’s expanding presence in the North American market.

“We’re thrilled to extend our partnership with Fendt® as they continue as the Official Tractor of NHRA. Fendt® has been an outstanding partner with NHRA, delivering world-class innovation and performance to the NHRA and our Safety Safari and Competition Department teams,” said Brad Gerber, NHRA Vice President and Chief Development Officer.

“Their reliability plays a huge role in preparing and maintaining a safe and consistent racing surface for our race teams, and we look forward to this partnership continuing to grow,” said Gerber.

Additionally, Fendt® will continue sponsoring Florida farmer Anthony Troyer and his Top Alcohol Dragster, operated by McPhillips Racing. The team has achieved numerous national and regional victories. The sponsorship includes updated vehicle branding, on-track appearances, and fan engagement programs linked to Fendt®’s event displays.

The renewed agreement highlights how agriculture and motorsports share common values such as precision, strength, and innovation, creating benefits both on the track and in the field.
