Quad Cities Higher Ed Groups to Host Employer Town Hall

Western Illinois University, in collaboration with local Quad Cities college and university career centers, is offering a free summer event for Quad Cities-area employers from 9 to 11 a.m. Aug. 4 in QC Riverfront Hall, room 103/104.

"WIU is proud to collaborate with other Quad Cities colleges and universities in hopes of gaining new connections throughout the community and bringing new opportunities to students," said the Director of Center for Career Preparation and Employer Engagement Audrey Adamson.

Employers from organizations around the Quad Cities will have the opportunity to connect with students and gain insights on how Quad Cities higher education can prepare students for future careers.

"Hosting an Employer Town Hall allows us the opportunity to share what is happening with internships and recruiting as we prepare for a new school year and joint career fairs," said Adamson. "This event also allows employers to explore the WIU-QC campus and see the resources available to the community."
