House Ag. Committee to Hold Decatur Listening Session Aug. 30
Illinois Ag Connection - 08/09/2017
The U.S. House Agriculture Committee wants to hear from the people.
Members of the Ag Committee are preparing to write the next Farm Bill. They're coming to Decatur for one of only a few Listening Sessions across the country.
The Illinois Stewardship Alliance will be there to tell members of Congress that it wants a Farm Bill that provides access to good food for all, keeps family farmers on the land, and protects soil and water. Will you join in at the Decatur session to be held at the
Farm Progress Show beginning at 9 a.m. in Shilling Hall at Richland Community College, 1 College Park?
The event is free. Parking may be competitive. The Alliance hopes to help connect people who want to carpool from Chicago, Springfield, Champaign, and Carbondale. For more info or questions, email or call Liz Stelk at firstname.lastname@example.org or 217-528-1563.
