Governor JB Pritzker has announced new appointments to various boards and commissions, continuing his focus on building a strong and diverse team of experts. Among these important selections, Addison Page has been appointed as a Member of the Illinois Committee for Agricultural Education.

This committee plays an important role in improving agricultural education programs across the state. It helps ensure that students, farmers, and professionals receive proper training and knowledge in modern agriculture. The appointment of experienced individuals like Page is expected to support innovation and growth in the sector.

Addison Page currently works as a Sustainable Agriculture Specialist at Rend Lake College in Ina, Illinois. In this role, he leads agricultural technology courses, conducts industry training, and helps design updated curriculum. His work focuses on teaching practical skills that are required in today’s farming environment.

Before joining Rend Lake College, Page served as a Precision Agriculture Specialist for Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners. During his time there, he trained both customers and employees on new agricultural technologies. He helped them understand how modern tools can improve farming efficiency and productivity. His experience in precision farming makes him well-suited for this new role.

Page holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Systems and Technology Management from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. His educational background, combined with his professional experience, gives him strong knowledge of both traditional and modern agricultural practices.

Governor Pritzker’s decision reflects the importance of advancing agricultural education. By bringing in professionals like Addison Page, the state aims to better prepare students and farmers for the future. His appointment is expected to contribute to better learning opportunities, improved farming methods, and stronger agricultural development in Illinois.
