Iowa Limousin, Illinois Angus Named KILE Supreme Champions

Judges sorted nearly 1,300 cattle to select the Grand Champion Angus Bull as the Supreme Champion Bull, and the Grand Champion Limousin Female as Supreme Champion Female of the open beef show at the 2019 Keystone International Livestock Exposition (KILE), held at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center in Harrisburg.

Supreme Champion Female was the Champion Limousin Female from the All Other Breeds open show, TASF Envy 161E ET, exhibited by Kinnick Paulsen of Preston, Iowa. He received year-long use of a Wilson gooseneck livestock trailer, sponsored by EMM Sales & Service, Inc. and the Wilson Trailer Company.

Supreme Champion Bull was the Champion Angus Bull, HAG MCK Model 1748 exhibited by Haggard Angus of Modoc, Ill.

Judges for the supreme drive were Parker Henley, Jack Oattes, and John Grimmes.

The Keystone International Livestock Exposition is the largest livestock show on the East Coast, with more than 1,300 beef cattle, 650 horses, 1,200 sheep, 450 swine, and 200 Boer goats. This year, nearly 1,000 exhibitors from 29 states and Canada are competing in livestock events. The show also includes the 12th Annual Keystone Classic Barbecue Competition, a Kansas City Barbecue Society-sanctioned event to select the state's finest culinary competitors.
