Planning to enhance your pesticide applicator skills? Join the upcoming certification program at the University of Illinois Extension Office in Bureau County. An additional testing session has been added on March 12th, offering an opportunity for individuals to gain certification.
Session Details:
Date and Time: March 12, 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Location: University of Illinois Extension Office, 850 Thompson Street, Princeton
Registration: Call the University of Illinois Registrar’s Office at 815-875-2878. No participation fees apply.
All commercial tests are recommended, and certification is essential for using restricted-use pesticides. The program is conducted in collaboration with the Illinois Department of Agriculture, emphasizing the importance of safe and responsible pesticide application.

Important Information for Participants:
- Bring a simple function calculator; smartphones and smart devices are not allowed.
- No charge for testing; however, advance registration is required.
- Indicate any need for reasonable accommodation during check-in.
