Local farmer Ken Stark directed a $5,000 Bayer Fund America’s Farmers Grow Communities donation to DeKalb County 4-H in 2023.
“We would like to thank Ken for this amazing donation to the DeKalb County 4-H program and Bayer for sponsoring the opportunity. It will truly make an impact in our local program,” said Johnna Jennings, 4-H Youth Development Educator in DeKalb County. "This donation will allow us to reach more youth in DeKalb County," stated Nicole Groezinger, DeKalb County 4-H Program Coordinator.
Since 2010, America’s Farmers programs have awarded nearly $65 million to nonprofits, aspiring ag students, and public schools across rural America. Farmers are leaders in their communities, so America’s Farmers programs rely on them to help identify the worthiest causes.
