The Illinois State Fair is set for a legendary performance as Rock and Roll Hall of Fame icons Def Leppard bring their powerful live show to Springfield on August 16.
Known for timeless hits and energetic performances, Def Leppard promises an unforgettable night for fans. The setlist is expected to feature classic songs like "Pour Some Sugar on Me," "Photograph," and "Love Bites," making it a must-attend event for rock enthusiasts of all ages.
Def Leppard, one of the world’s greatest live bands, has sold over 110 million albums, received two prestigious U.S. Diamond Awards, and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
The band—comprising Joe Elliott (vocals), Phil Collen (guitar), Rick Savage (bass), Vivian Campbell (guitar), and Rick Allen (drums)—is celebrated for groundbreaking albums like “Pyromania” and “Hysteria.” Their recent projects, including the acclaimed album “Diamond Star Halos” and the #1 classical chart hit “Drastic Symphonies,” continue to build their legacy and expand their fanbase globally.
Illinois State Fair Manager Rebecca Clark shared her excitement, noting that Def Leppard’s music is timeless and known to draw fans to sing along and “strum an air guitar.”
This concert reflects the fair’s commitment to delivering top-quality performances and engaging entertainment for visitors.
Tickets go on sale starting November 16 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster, with special holiday prices available until December 31. Ticket prices start at $85 for Tier 3 seats, going up to $165 for the Blue Ribbon Zone.
An additional $30 pre-show party upgrade is available for all paid ticket holders, and prices for SRO Track and Tier 1 tickets will increase by $10 after January 1, 2025.
