The Illinois Department of Agriculture (IDOA) has introduced its first-ever Illinois Product Holiday Box, a special collection designed to promote local businesses and provide a taste of Illinois.

With nine carefully selected products from Illinois, the holiday box serves as a unique and thoughtful gift for friends, family, or colleagues. This initiative makes it easy to shop locally and show appreciation for Illinois-based businesses this holiday season.

IDOA Director Jerry Costello II expressed enthusiasm about the holiday box, stating, “The Illinois Product Holiday Box is a wonderful way to share a taste of Illinois this season. Our team has made it easy to shop local and support Illinois businesses with this one-size-fits-all gift.”

The Illinois Product Holiday Box includes a selection of local treats and handcrafted items:

B’s Gourmet Nuts: Decadent Cashews

Creekstone Kettle Works: Sea Salt Caramel Popcorn

Fire Department Coffee: Original Medium Roast Coffee

Bee-utiful Honey & Candles: Christmas Tree Beeswax Candle

Fired Up Jellies and Jams: Strawberry Habanero Jelly

Garlic Breath Farms: Garlic Goddess Hot Sauce

Turasky Meats: BBQ, Teriyaki, and Original Snack Sticks

Riley’s Seasoning: All-Purpose Seasoning (Salt-Free)

Umland’s Crunchy Cheese: Cheddar Crunchy Cheese

Each box also includes two complimentary tickets to the Illinois Product Expo, scheduled for March 1-2, 2025, in Springfield.

To purchase the Illinois Product Holiday Box, visit the official website. Each box is available for $50 when picked up from the IDOA building in Springfield or $70 with U.S. shipping. Orders will begin shipping the first week of December, and to ensure delivery by December 25, orders must be placed by December 13.

According to IDOA Bureau Chief Jackie Sambursky, “The Illinois Product Holiday Box takes the guesswork out of gift-giving. The box is beautifully designed and hand-packed, making it a perfect, memorable gift.”

Each item in the box is certified as an Illinois Product, Illinois Grown, or Homegrown by Heroes, supporting local agriculture and veterans’ agricultural initiatives. This holiday box highlights the rich variety and quality of Illinois-made goods and is a celebration of local pride.
