Illinois Corn Stocks Up from 2022, Soybeans Down



Corn stocks in all positions on December 1, 2022 totaled 1.97 billion bushels, up 6 percent from December 1, 2021. On-farm stocks totaled 1.10 billion bushels, while off-farm stocks totaled 873 million bushels. The September-November 2022 indicated disappearance is 441 million bushels.

Soybean stocks in all positions on December 1, 2022 totaled 545 million bushels, down 6 percent from December 1, 2021. On-farm stocks totaled 265 million bushels, while off-farm stocks totaled 280 million bushels. The September-November 2022 indicated disappearance is 165 million bushels.

All wheat stocks in all positions on December 1, 2022 totaled 29.9 million bushels, up 3 percent from December 1, 2021. On-farm stocks totaled 1.60 million bushels, while off-farm stocks totaled 28.3 million bushels. The September-November 2022 indicated disappearance is 6.04 million bushels.
