ILCC Promotes Alcohol Safety at 2023 Du Quoin State Fair

ILCC Promotes Alcohol Safety at 2023 Du Quoin State Fair

The Illinois Liquor Control Commission (ILCC) is taking proactive steps to promote alcohol safety and responsible drinking habits. As part of their ongoing commitment, the ILCC is participating in the 2023 Du Quoin State Fair, where they will be actively engaging with attendees to raise awareness about responsible alcohol consumption.

Following a successful engagement at the Illinois State Fair in Springfield, the ILCC is excited to continue their efforts by interacting with fairgoers at the Du Quoin State Fair. Established in 1923, this fair has historically showcased the agricultural community of Southern Illinois. Despite facing economic challenges in the past, the fair's legacy has been secured by the State of Illinois.

The ILCC's presence at the fair will involve an information booth featuring educational materials, contests, giveaways, and engaging activities. The primary goal is to educate fair attendees about the risks associated with excessive alcohol consumption and to promote responsible drinking practices.

One of the ILCC's key objectives is to address the dangers of drunk driving, and their presence at the fair will provide an opportunity to engage with the public on this important topic. By raising awareness and providing information, the ILCC aims to encourage responsible choices related to alcohol consumption.

Stay updated on the ILCC's activities and information by following their official social media channels. The ILCC's mission revolves around protecting the health and safety of Illinois residents through careful regulation of alcohol-related activities. This includes overseeing the manufacture, distribution, and sale of alcoholic beverages, as well as implementing strategies to prevent youth access to alcohol products.
