Dairy Signal: Asset Management, Corn Outlook, and Markets


The Dairy Signal from Professional Dairy Producers (PDPW) is hosting a series of educational episodes this week on asset management, the 2023 corn outlook, and agricultural markets and trends.

On Tuesday, July 18, Dr. Brady Brewer, assistant professor of agricultural economics at Purdue University, will discuss how to optimize asset-management strategies and make necessary adjustments.

On Wednesday, July 19, Dr. John Goeser, director of nutritional research & innovation at Rock River Lab, Inc., and Todd Schaumburg, part owner and agronomist at Tilth Agronomy, will discuss the outlook for the 2023 corn crop and how to take corn to the finish line for silage.

On Thursday, July 20, Dan Basse, president of AgResource Company, will provide an update on the turbulent forces driving agricultural markets and trends that stand to impact dairy producers and the ag industry now and into the remainder of the year.
