2024 Illinois Fair sneak peek

The 2024 Illinois State Fair is set to captivate visitors with exciting new features, which will be highlighted during the Press Preview Day on Monday, July 29.

Hosted by Department of Agriculture Director Jerry Costello II and Illinois State Fair Manager Rebecca Clark, this event is aimed at providing an exclusive sneak peek into what attendees can expect at this year’s fair.

Members of the media are invited to attend a briefing that will take place at 11 a.m. at the Illinois Department of Agriculture Tent. The tent is conveniently located near the intersection of Central Avenue and Main Street on the Illinois State Fairgrounds.

This briefing will feature presentations by Director Costello and Manager Clark, who will discuss the latest additions and improvements to the fair.

After the briefing, media representatives will have the opportunity to interview the speakers and other subject matter experts who will be available on-site. This is an excellent chance for journalists to gather detailed information and insights about the upcoming fair.

Following the program, media members are encouraged to proceed to the Emmerson Building to pick up their media credentials.

These credentials will grant access to various events and areas throughout the fair, facilitating comprehensive coverage of the fair’s activities and attractions.
