Open House to Highlight LEJA Offerings at WIU



Those interested in careers in criminal justice or public safety, including areas related to emergency management, policing, investigations, fire science and paramedic service, are invited to attend the Western Illinois University School of Law Enforcement and Justice Administration Open House, beginning at 9 a.m. Oct. 25 in the University Union.

The free event will include more than 10 law enforcement-related demonstrations, which reflect the academic offerings at WIU. Planned demonstrations include blood spatter analysis, canine investigations, search and rescue, live burn patterns, paramedic and EMT demonstrations, drone demonstrations, polygraph, behavioral analysis, accident reconstruction and crime scene investigations.
