Illinois State Fair Arena Tickets Go on Sale April 21

The Illinois State Fair has announced its high‑energy Arena entertainment lineup for the 2026 Fair, featuring a variety of popular events for visitors of all ages.

Tickets for all Arena events will go on sale Tuesday, April 21, through Ticketmaster.

The Illinois State Fair will run from August 13 through August 23 in Springfield.

The Arena schedule opens with two nights of professional rodeo action presented by the Wooten Rodeo Company. The rodeo events will take place on Thursday, August 13, and Friday, August 14, beginning at 7:30 p.m. each night.

Fans can enjoy traditional rodeo competitions and exciting performances designed to entertain audiences of all ages.

Powerful engines and competitive action return with the Illinois Truck & Tractor Pulls, scheduled over three nights.

The events will be held on Monday, August 17; Tuesday, August 18; and Wednesday, August 19, each starting at 7:30 p.m. Every night features different pulling classes, offering spectators a wide range of machines and competition styles.

High‑octane excitement continues with Monsters of Destruction on Friday, August 21. The event includes a pre‑show Pit Party at 5:30 p.m., where fans can meet drivers, enjoy autographs, and get close to the trucks. The main show begins at 7:30 p.m. and features monster trucks, Tuff Trucks, and side‑by‑side racing.

The Arena entertainment wraps up with the Demolition Derby on Saturday, August 22, at 5:00 p.m. This fan‑favorite event showcases drivers competing in a dramatic test of vehicle strength, strategy, and endurance.

“This year’s Arena lineup brings together a strong mix of returning favorites and high-impact entertainment that reflects what fairgoers love most,” said Illinois Department of Agriculture Director Jerry Costello II. “We’re proud to continue offering events that showcase skill, competition, and excitement for audiences of all ages.”

“The Arena is where energy and tradition collide. Whether it’s the roar of engines, the intensity of competition, or the thrill of live action, these events create lasting memories for families and fans year after year,” said Illinois State Fair Manager Rebecca Clark. “We’re excited to welcome everyone back for another unforgettable lineup.”

Ticket sales and additional event details will be available through Ticketmaster and the official Illinois State Fair website.
