Illinois State Fair 2026 Expands Grandstand Music Schedule

The Illinois State Fair is elevating its 2026 Grandstand Concert Series with an impressive roster of supporting acts, adding even more excitement to the fair’s live entertainment lineup. Featuring a mix of country, rock, hip-hop, and reggae artists, the concert series promises something for every music fan during the event in Springfield.

The schedule begins on August 14 with Jake Worthington joining country star Bailey Zimmerman, followed by Tigirlily Gold opening for Lainey Wilson on August 15. Matchbox Twenty will perform with Grace Enger on August 16, while rock bands 38 Special and Warrant share the stage on August 17.

Reggae legends Ziggy Marley and Skip Marley will perform on August 18, followed by a hip-hop showcase featuring Wiz Khalifa and Big Boi on August 19. On August 20, The Avett Brothers will be joined by Drive-By Truckers and Hunter Flynn.

Country fans can look forward to ERNEST opening for Ella Langley on August 21. Calder Allen will perform alongside The Chicks on August 22, while rock group From Ashes to New will support Shinedown on the closing night, August 23.

"This year's Grandstand lineup was already stacked, and these supporting acts take it to another level," said Illinois Department of Agriculture Director Jerry Costello II.

The 2026 Illinois State Fair will run from August 13 to August 23 in Springfield. In addition to its concert lineup, the fair will highlight the Route 66 Centennial through its theme, Miles of Smiles, celebrating the iconic highway’s rich history and its connection to Illinois.
