Precipitation averaged 0.0 inches, 0.72 inches below normal. Topsoil moisture supply was rated 23 percent very short, 31 percent short, and 46 percent adequate. Subsoil moisture supply was rated 19 percent very short, 30 percent short, and 51 percent.

Corn mature reached 93 percent, compared to the 5-year average of 98 percent. Corn harvested for grain reached 65 percent, compared to the 5-year average of 69 percent.

Soybeans harvested reached 78 percent, compared to the 5-year average of 74 percent.
