Illinois FFA members and advisors are invited to attend FFA Ag Night at the Saluki basketball game at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. The event takes place on Friday, February 6, 2026, and offers a fun and engaging opportunity for students involved in agricultural education to come together on campus.
FFA Ag Night allows members to enjoy a college basketball game while connecting with peers, teachers, and university representatives. The Saluki basketball team will face Murray State Racers, giving students a chance to experience the excitement of college athletics in a supportive group setting.
Tickets and pregame activities are free for Illinois FFA members and advisors. Registration and check in are expected to begin around 5 p.m. at the Banterra Center, with the exact location shared closer to the event date.
A group photo with Coach Nagy is scheduled for 6 p.m., followed by pregame activities and concession time. Meal vouchers will be provided for use at concessions between 6:15 and 7 p.m.
The basketball game will begin at 7 p.m. Teachers are asked to register students in advance using the official registration form. This helps organizers plan for tickets, meal vouchers, and event supplies. Each ticket and meal voucher represents a meaningful value, so teachers should only register students who plan to attend.
The registration deadline is January 28, 2026, at 5 p.m. Students registered by the deadline will also receive an event t-shirt. Teachers who plan to bring larger groups may complete multiple registration forms if needed. Any changes to attendance should be shared as soon as possible.
FFA Ag Night at SIUC combines school spirit, leadership development, and agricultural education in one memorable evening. The event supports student engagement while strengthening connections between Illinois FFA members and higher education opportunities.
