For a nominal fee of $5.00, the University of Illinois Extension invites you to a captivating exploration of the future of farming, generously sponsored by Goldstar Cambridge, Big River Resources, and River Valley Cooperative.

Speakers:

  • N. Dennis Bowman (Illinois Extension Digital Agriculture Specialist): Explore the practical applications of agricultural technology with Bowman, a leading expert in precision farming. In his presentation, "Old McDonald had a Farm: AI, AI … Oh!" Bowman delves into real-world applications and ongoing research, offering a comprehensive understanding of A.I. in farming.
  • Hannah Gripp (SweetWater Technologies, Powered by Gripp): Dive into the world of drones, fungicides, and SweetWater precision ag technologies with Hannah Gripp. A Purdue University graduate with a degree in Agriculture Education and a crop science minor, Gripp represents SweetWater Technologies—a company focused on empowering American farmers through turn-key, owner-operator partnerships within precision agriculture.
  • Nicole Haverback (Illinois Extension, Watershed Outreach Associate): Explore the Illinois Nutrient Loss Reduction Strategy with Nicole Haverback. As a Watershed Outreach Associate, she brings valuable insights into nitrogen priority watersheds and discusses practical agricultural solutions, along with the role of A.I. technology in reducing nutrient loss.
