Precision Planting's New Sprayer Technology Now Available

First announced at the company's annual Winter Conference in January, Precision Planting LLC's new sprayer technology, ReClaim, is now available for purchase. ReClaim, which is focused on improving sprayer operation and environmental safety, completed beta testing this spring and summer.

"ReClaim will provide farmers with better sprayer efficacy starting with the first drop, improving safety of the operator and the environment and greatly improving sprayer cleanout," said Will Frank, product manager for Precision Planting, Tremont, Ill. "It has been designed to retrofit onto a farmer's existing sprayer with electric or standard nozzles, with all sprayer brands in mind."

ReClaim uses a single rocker switch in the cab to engage recirculation across the entire boom, priming the booms without having to spray a drop of chemical to the ground, eliminating crop damage and hot spots at the edge of the field. As an added benefit, compressed air can be used to clean out the booms and push product back to the tank once spraying is done.

"By adding this retrofit sprayer lineup to our company, we are continuing to improve farmers' existing equipment with new, innovative technology," said Bryce Baker, marketing manager for Precision Planting. "This follows our motto of 'Believe in Better' as we continue to put farmers first by creating products they need."

Farmers who are interested in ReClaim can contact their local premier Precision Planting dealer for more information. A limited quantity will be available for purchase this fall throughout the United States and Canada.
